Meeting site and Venue
This year's meeting will be held at the third floor ballroom area at the Hilton Waikiki Prince Kuhio Hotel. All official sessions will take place at this location. Some side activities such as the conference dinner may take place off site but probably with in easy walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is located in the famous Waikiki Beach area in Honolulu, Oahu, and is conveniently located just a block from Waikiki beach, and near to the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, Kapiolani Park and of course food and shopping. The hotel is approximately 10 miles from the Honolulu International Airport.
The Honolulu International Airport (HNL) is served by many national and international carriers with many direct flights from major cities in the Asia Pacific region. [Terminal map here]. Fares can vary widely so please book early for the most direct and cheapest fares. Also consider a side trip to some of the other Hawaiian islands during your trip to Hawaii. The Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau has a website that is informative and can provide you with further information about Hawaii and the island of Oahu.
Entry into the US requires a valid passport and in many cases a valid VISA. Meeting participants requiring a letter of invitation should follow this link [to be linked] or contact Eric Jang, Chair of the local organizing committee. Upon arrival foreign visitors will need to fill out an immigration form I-94, clear US immigration and US customs prior to exiting the airport area. Currency exchange is available inside the international arrival area and U.S. Customs area of the airport.
